Jesus is BOTH definitions!
(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in being ‘leavened’ today this daily leavened bread”)
You are too many a part of this world.
What you hold onto, you will surely lose.
Grains of sand rife. Your oyster is pearled.
You’re heavenly purposed. Your God will choose.
I receive all perfect gifts from above.
There’s nothing down here that will float my boat.
I sail by God’s Winds. My labor of love
is hardly labor when I Bible quote.
“They are not of this world, as I am not,”
spoke Jesus. “They are my Father’s Heaven.”
He came down to this world to take God’s Spot
as Human; loved, then murdered as Leaven.
We rise; no part of this world that woes us.
We’re leaven; in, NOT of this world. “Jesus!”
