(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in God’s Love saving one, including myself, thus saving all, in times of trouble”)
You awake in the morning with the dread
of things to come, the times of troubled souls.
The line of fire is where there you have bled.
Seek refuge in The One who all controls.
“Will they love me or hate me?” Morning prayer.
If they loved me, it’s been a day with Him.
If they hated me, it’s been solitaire.
Did you know “solitaire” can mean “a gem?”
“I delight in Hardships, for I’m made High
by Him who I delight in.” Never wrong.
If they hate you, your two cheeks you supply.
If they love you, let them love you. Love’s Strong.
End your day by sorting through the rubble.
God’s Love was with you in times of trouble.
I want to be loved and to love others

Being aware of what we want means we’re halfway there. “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want….” but we can certainly NEED!!!! And needing love is an essential!
