(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in the gray and not the black and white of you and me in the presence of Multicolored God”)
You expect them to be all black and white.
You’re not allowing them elephant gray.
They both will disappoint and will delight.
Elephant in the room is not just “they.”
“They” is “me.” If I’m all gray, so all they.
Elephants “trunk”ate and come together.
Like me, they “gray” black and white near Doomsday.
Like they, I “gray” in Love’s Last Days’ nether.
“In the Last Days, black and white times shall be.”
2 Timothy Three:1 – Gray will groan.
There will be God who will “gray” us all Free.
Black and white with reds on top? Our bemoan.
Our gray hopes keep us from feared black and white.
God’s Multicolored in the darkest night.
