(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in dropped balls everywhere with God always ‘Hold’Strong”)
They don’t come through for you. They drop the ball.
You say, “They just don’t care about my game.”
The dropped ball is them that fumble, not all.
Maybe you expect perfection by Name?
I can’t believe he dropped the ball again.
What happened to “consistent,” him stable?
He fumbled. Now, I forgive him the sin
of perfection and I drop the label.
“When Perfect comes, the partial will be dropped.”
1 Corinthians 13:Ten – The ball
will be picked up by Him. How all have flopped
will see the light of day in God’s “‘mess’Hall.”
We must allow others the right to wrong.
“Drop the ball” is human; God is “Hold”Strong.
