(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in holding God in my heart with no cages’ wires and no locks, only hours of God’s Love”)
You hold them all to have them all for you.
Others are taken prisoners for your desires.
You are to release them but you construe
they’re yours to trap. You won’t cut cages’ wires.
I hold them so close they fight for air’s sake.
I’m lonely and I don’t want them to leave
me to my misery. I want them ache,
not to be mean but to share this bereave.
“But as for me, it is good to hold Him.”
Psalm 73:TwentyEight – We hold
God in our hearts. We don’t trap Him on whim.
We free Him from cages. With Him, we’re sold.
We set our captives free; they are not ours.
We hold God in our hearts; He holds our hours.
I thought that was A nice piece Timothy
