(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in writing out plans in God’s Planner just for today, my daily bread”)
You have a planner that takes you backwards
in time. You bought it for future tripping.
Your past was not planned for your shocked inwards.
Release doing things that got you gripping.
I wait expectantly for You to come.
My planner has nothing planned but Your Plan.
In the pause am I reeling from succumb
to Doubt, if I matter at all; withstand.
“Be still and know I’m God. I am Above.”
Psalm 46:Ten – All still from God’s Throne.
Down here are there fatalities, sick shove.
Up there, there is God who down here has Flown.
Our planners are not needed for God’s Say.
“God, what is it we have to do today?”
“We must stop regarding unpleasant or unexpected things as interruptions of real life. The truth is that interruptions are real life.” — CS Lewis
