ORDINARY MEN

“This picture is from one of my favorite scenes from the film, ORDINARY PEOPLE, which came out in 1980. It is now 2020, and ORDINARY PEOPLE has held the #1 spot on my favorite movies list of all time for 40 years! I have seen a whole lot of films in 40 years and while some came close to toppling this #1 spot (THE HOURS and PERSONA, come to mind), ORDINARY PEOPLE has remained #1. WOW! Talk about EXTRAORDINARY!!!!”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in using my ‘ordinary’ talents for the extraordinary life God desires of me”)

You are an ordinary man due to

you are a common man, run-of-the-mill.

What makes you extraordinary? You,

one-of-a-kind, broke mold, original.

I can’t do ordinary. I gotta

shine and stand out, not to boast, but to be

all God intended me to be. Fatha’

God made me for the victory: Gutsy!

“I can do all things for He strengthens me.”

Philippians 4:Thirteen – He said ALL!

Not some, not few, but ALL! Ordinary?

Try Extraordinary, try God’s Enthral.

If you’re like me, you won’t want now and then.

You’ll want God’s Love NOW, ordinary men.

It’s okay that we are “ordinary.” It is only when we admit me are “ordinary” that we can be EXTRA”ordinary!” 😉
