(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in the Presence of God in the absence of others”)
Just one day of his absence and you’re struck
down, done with, pained in your deepest recess.
You’re okay when your way is swear “good luck.”
Not your way and you’re a bloody abscess.
He left me and I swear I got nothing.
I cry (a lot) and swear the sun don’t shine.
He was my everything, swear was something.
I swear I’ll never love again: RESIGN.
“They might ALL leave you but I SWEAR I won’t.”
ALL Bible Truths, ALL day long, for ALL times.
ALL love stories are God-Ordained; ALL don’t
end happy but with God “I’m left,” BETIMES!
We can ALL be left in no time flat; “‘bye.”
I SWEAR God won’t EVER leave. Believe? Try….
He’s always there
