WE’VE ALWAYS LIKED THE WAY GOD MAKES US FEEL

“There’s no flame and yet I burn.”
THAT is why we’ve always liked the way God makes us feel.

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret, inspired by the song, “The Way He Makes Me Feel,” from YENTL, sung by the incomparable Barbra Streisand)

You are not sure another touch will do.

Another feel won’t feel right. Just a kiss.

You are done giving your heart to taboo.

It’s you who’s been waiting for you amiss.

I’ve always liked the way God makes me feel.

The way He touches me on the way down.

The feel that’s right from Him, the kiss ideal.

His Heart in mine, sacred; He’s “Pappa Noun.”

“I’ve loved you with an everlasting Love.”

Jeremiah 31:Three – Feel THAT!

Don’t get much better than THAT, folks. THAT’s Love!

We can seek feeling from another: FLAT!

We’ve grown accustomed to others, their “deal.”

We’ve always liked the way God makes us feel.
