fallen out of time

“I seem to have fallen out of time.” – Richard as a Man and a Boy (THE HOURS)

(a poem by Timothy J. Verret, inspired by a line from the character of Richard in the “4” [Clarissa, Virginia, Laura, and Richard] film, THE HOURS)

silence is timeless

i make no sound when i have

fallen out of time

what is the history of time?

is it not

now?

if time is only Now, i will never

fall

fallen out of time

i am seeing time Now

The clock next to my soul can

fall out of time

but i will not

i am now

i am time

never will i have

fallen out of time

but you?

i have fallen for you

you have fallen out of love with me

you have fallen out of time with me

as a Man

as a Boy

and Now Me?

Now I have

fallen out of time
