(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in ‘taking back’ what I say and do that hurts whoever is in my path and ‘giving forward’ what I say and do that loves whoever is in my path”)
It’s a done deal; you want to take it back,
what you said and did, who you hurt. “Forgive
me for I know not what I do.” Wisecrack
who you love, you say and do, from “sore-give.”
I have this way about me where I dump
too much stuff on you. I test your waters
to see how much you can take of my trump:
“I need you never to leave close quarters.”
“He commands. He is with you always….end.”
Matthew 28:Twenty – Now, not then
if then not be the end. Jesus will send
us backward to take back, forward to when,
who, where and how He always takes us back,
’cause Jesus is the what and why we lack.
