“There will be great ‘grea’ce when two halves become one Spirit.”

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in a great and greasy ‘grea’ce that slippery slides me right into God’s Undying Love”)

Fortunate are you to receive great “grea”ce.

When pain visits, you dig and hide it deep,

cover it up. “I’ll come back to this place

to exhume pain when large sow meets small reap.

I can promise you that great “grea”ce is mine

for the taking, though I often decline.

Why? Can you say victim? Dividing line

is blurred between my past and now’s entwine.

“Great ‘grea’ce has been given for each portion.”

Ephesians 4:Seven – Christ feeds us well,

serves us feasts according to our torsion:

Do we love or do we hate? Shush or yell?

God grants great “grea”ce to those who are “grea”tful.

It will be apportioned to us fateful.

  1. Once again you have written a deep piece that touches my soul. It flows very smoothly and tells a story in your unique way. You have a certain style that is flowing and meaningful. I enjoyed this sonnet also. Thank you. Marcia
