(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; “it’s how I cope to hope in God solving all problems just for today, ‘my daily bread'”)
You don’t do problems. One and one is two.
That much you do. But beyond that one? No!
You’re a lifer, in it ’till the end, who
puts death in time-out, does the “let it go.”
I do problems. One and one is 40.
40 lifetimes I’ve faced; more woes racked up.
And, death, yes, that I’ve done. Body warty,
boils on top of boils. Hurts and loss add up.
“He will wipe all their tears from all their eyes.”
Revelation Twenty-One:4 – Delete
debts, wash wounds, erase pain, eliminate lies.
God will restart our hearts. Problems, He’ll fleet.
If we ain’t got problems, nothing to heal.
We got problems. Denial is our fear to feel.
Timothy This one is full of pain and hurt. Your descriptions make me picture a God who is waiting to give you a needed hug if you just turn to him. This sonnet is another deep one that paints a picture of despair and possible saving…grace. Marcia

Thank you so much, Marcia, for your kind words on my sometimes often painful word expression. I always yearn to write these sonnets under God’s “I’m right behind you, Timothy, directing your every step!” Guidance, as He lets me hold both the despair and His Saving Grace. Much love and blessings always, Marcia!
