(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; it’s how I cope to hope in my heart transplant from Jesus being true and tried in LOVE)
You received a gift that was sent Love Mail.
You dared not open it for it had bled
red, had dents and in its center, a nail
punctured the gift. You got stabbed, too. Blood shed.
I got the same gift as you; opened it.
I needed to know, “What is this? Who sent?”
After pulling out the blood nail, my fit
for the gift was an unused heart, not bent.
“A gift I leave you: Peace of heart and mind.”
John 4teen:27 – His Transplant.
We get a shiny teeth heart when we find
Jesus, when we make our problems kid scant.
Open the gift even if on outside,
a mess. Go inside it. Be true and tried.
