(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; it’s how I cope to hope in finding out the results of MY “love blood draw”)
If you could love yourself, you’d be home free.
You’d be just what the doctor ordered: Tests!
“But I do love myself!” Then why the flee
from you to draw my tests? No one likes pests.
If I could love myself, I’d be home free.
There would be no need for flee from your harsh.
Sure, I irritate you. But can you see
that your ache of me is you in your marsh?
“Let us examine our ways and test them.”
Lamentations 4:Ten – It’s YOUR lab work!
God draws our blood for unique tests. Too, phlegm.
The lab results are gonna be way quirk.
Here’s praying God’s Love tests your own dis-ease.
He’s got the Cure. He’s got the Remedies.
