(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; it’s how I hope to cope in the “happy/crappy” of doing God’s Will and talking and walking like Jesus talked and walked)
You are happy. You couldn’t ask for more.
You are happy. You got all you need: Blessed.
You are happy. A zillion friends’ rapport.
But when no one’s looking, you got suppressed.
I am happy. I shoot things and I score.
I am happy. I got much good: Content.
I am happy. I sleep soundly yet snore.
But when no one’s looking, I got dissent.
“Suffer happy to be happy for Him.”
First Peter 4:Thirteen – Glory revealed!
“What? Suffer happy?” YES! I know it’s grim.
But happy is sad when we have concealed.
“Forget your troubles, c’mon get happy!”
In our troubles, we are happy/crappy.
