(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; it’s how I cope to hope in a Christ-Comfortable, His Crossed-Off List….beh”in”d bars)
You say all is as good as it can be.
You’re sunny side up; you’re all moon and stars.
You’re about to go “in”to the foresee:
Who you never thought you’d be beh”in”d bars.

I’ve spent much time to go “in”to, predict
that I’d be free soon enough but unclad,
I wasn’t naked suffice; derelict.
“Two criminals were led out with Jesus.”
Luke TwentyThree:32 – And their names?
My name was one of two. The other? US!
Let us accept His Executed Shames.
God invites us to get bled beh”in”d bars.
It won’t be pretty to write our memoirs.
