(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret; it’s how I cope to hope in a TWO-paired “pileup”)
You got, “Will they remember I was here?”
You got things you ain’t looking at; negate.
They see white light, you see, “is the coast clear?”
But you’ve been drowning for years from lies’ weight.
I got, “Who am I REALLY when alone?”
When someone’s back is to me, don’t I breathe
a sigh of relief now that I’m “back-bone?”
My back against the wall is when I seethe.
“No one continually does good; no fault.”
Ecclesiastes Seven:20 – SHREW!
Let us not walk through someone else’s vault
to say, “I’M pileup!” Let US “pileup” TWO!
So, God will remember us by truth shared,
but if we enlarge our fib, NO! Not paired!
