GOD’S PACT

(God’s Sonnet by Timothy J. Verret to exemplify Matthew 7:12)

When you walk in a room, Belle of the Ball

or you’re Quarterback of the Football Team.

You got all cares and stares; you glide, don’t crawl.

They place you on a pedestal to gleam.

With me, I’m behind, back; I’m in reverse.

I’m not really fleeing so much as FREEZE!

“DON’T BREATHE! BE QUIET! BE DEAD! YES, THIS IS CURSE!!!!”

Final bell tolls the completed unease.

Do unto others to do unto us.

Matthew Seven: Twelve – Mercy’s Golden Rule.

Wish: Someone had held me in that bane bus

to know what terror was there for me; SCHOOL!

So, whether we are “all that” or all cracked,

do really good unto others: God’s Pact.
